Two-factor authentication was included within a recent update to Eoiin Connect. The update allows you to make your account even more secure if you want. We’re committed to keeping your information secure, and this extra layer of protection can grant you extra peace of mind should you turn it on.
Two-factor authentication works in conjunction with an Authenticator App that automatically generates Authentication codes every few seconds. They are unique to your mobile device. Every time you login, you’ll be prompted to include the code most recently generated in the Authenticator App. This ensures an extra level of protection; both your password and this code are required to log into your account.
Here’s how to add two-factor authentication if you’d like to enable it.
If you want to add two-factor authentication to your account, it’s super easy to turn on. Regardless of your access level, once you’re logged into Eoiin Connect you can head to your Global Settings. The Global Settings is always accessible by hitting the ‘cog’ icon in the top, right corner of the screen, no matter where you are within Eoiin.
Within your Global Settings, you’ll want to select the option “Account Security” from the list on the left of the screen. Here, you’ll be presented with the steps required to complete the setup.
With that all set up, the next time you log into Eoiin, you’ll be requested to provide the code contained within your Authenticator App. These codes are automatically generated every few seconds and are unique to your mobile device. This ensures an extra level of protection; both your password and this code are required to log into your account.
