Hello Eoiin users! 👋 Here are the release notes from our latest update(s).

Since our last release note, we’ve made a whole stack of changes (four releases worth, actually!) and sorted a lot of bugs out, once again aiming to improve the function and feel of the app in general.

What’s New? ✨

Link styles for Eoiin

We’ve introduced a new link style for our users.
Now links appear in different colours and are clearly underlined to denote that they are Eoiin’s internal links.
Simply copy the URL for the card you are using, and then paste that into the description of the new card. It will automatically populate as a hyperlink.

Improvements 🧼

Introducing: Swimlanes

Yes, you read that right! Swimlanes help your team know who is responsible for each part of a project, with each lane acting as a space for a business role or department.
This new feature will improve cross collaboration and the management of your project!

You can find the + New Swimlane button on the top right of any of your Agile boards – right next to + New List.

Global loader is no more!

The global loader splash has been removed, reducing the time between interactions in the app.

Profile picture changes made simple

In an effort to increase the functionality of Eoiin, you can now change your profile picture from the My Feed page.

You can now re-subscribe to email notifications

Unsubscribed from Eoiin email notifications? No problem – now you can re-subscribe so you never miss an update.
Here’s how: Find the tick box to resubscribe to email notifications in ‘My Settings’ > ‘My Profile’.

Use Control + Enter to add a comment

We have added the functionality to use control + enter (on PC) or command + enter (for Mac users) to post a comment within the app.

You can see when an Agile board was last updated

Want more information about your Agile boards? We hear you.
Now you can see when the board was last updated, at a glance.

Are you sure you want to leave?

We have implemented a “Are you sure you want to leave?” type confirmation popup before you exit out of typing a message onto a card or comment.
Previously the app would just exist without any warning message and discard the unsubmitted message, which could lead to losing your changes, so this is a great improvement!

Bug Fixes 🐛

Note section in project detail has been fixed

We experienced an issue where users could not add notes on the project details page. This has been resolved, so now you can add all your notes!

Fixed multiline bug in cards, descriptions and other text areas

You may have noticed that for a while there you couldn’t add new lines to your text boxes.
We experienced this issue where users could not have multiline text paragraphs within the app.
This made status reports really unpleasant to look at – but we caught onto it quickly and fixed this for you.

Other bug fixes

The sorting functionality in the Risks table is now saving
Speaking of sorting, recent projects are now sortable by viewed date
Folder counts now accurately show amount of folders
The disappearing back buttons in Project/Global settings have been found and fixed!
We’ve improved the accessibility of checkboxes in Edit Widgets
Removed duplicate icons in the Project Template Hub
Improved the consistency of the triangle icons
Improved the precision of Finance values
Plus lots of other ‘under the hood’ bug fixes to make your experience using Eoiin Connect that much better.
